Clara (retired)
"There were a bunch of suicides going on all around me and nobody really was talking to the middle school. Everything was really confusing and that lead to me feeling really lonely. I would lose sleep over little things that didn’t matter. I stopped talking to people and I just closed off. I constantly felt sad and depressed. I eventually started getting tired of that depressing feeling so I started talking to a friend at dance. He helped me open up and just find reasons to be happy. I decided to move to a different school and that really helped me start fresh. Just talking and opening up helped me get out of a sad and depressing time. I hope through Project Reasons other people can open up and find a reason to be alive everyday."
